Executive Director Named Outstanding Chapter Member

Ed Long, Executive Director / Staff Attorney for H.E.L.P., has been named the “Outstanding Chapter Member” for 2000 of the Southern California Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. The award was presented as part of 2001 Symposium on Elder Law in Vancouver, British Columbia. The Symposium is an annual elder law training event conducted by the 3,800-member National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. 

H.E.L.P. is a non-profit, community-supported service for older adults and their caring family and friends. It provides free and low-cost information on government programs and legal and health-care matters through free classes and private consultations. “Telling, not selling” is the approach, and no financial products are sold and no legal representation is solicited.
