In With the Good, Out With the Good

H.E.L.P. recently installed its officers for 2003. Rod Burkley became Chair, Cathy Allen became Vice Chair and Hal Lazar became Treasurer. They succeed Liz Fitzgerald, Rod Burkley and Jerry Wittels, respectively. All continue on the Board. 

Also, Al Giuntoli will chair the corporate development team, and Liz Fitzgerald the foundation grants team. Other members of the H.E.L.P. Board include Jimi Andersen, Kate Crane, Jerry Kouzmanoff, Pete Pettler, Emily Stuhlbarg and Gary Tossell. The installation took place at the annual all-day H.E.L.P. board workshop. 

New Chair Rod Burkley recognized and thanked the outgoing officers for their dedication and leadership – under which H.E.L.P. set new records for service to older adults and their families and friends.

H.E.L.P. is an award-winning Torrance-based non-profit service for older adults and their caring families and friends. Since its inception in 1996, it has helped thousands of people meet aging-related legal and care challenges. Its services include public classes, private consultations, and telephone and Internet assistance. Almost all services are free.
