By going to the VONAPP (Veterans On Line Applications) web site (vabenefits.vba.va.gov/vonapp/main.asp), veterans who meet the requirements may apply for benefits online, rather than by visiting a Veterans Affairs (VA) office. The web site includes information regarding who is eligible to apply for benefits online.

Applications are available for the following benefits: compensation, pension, vocational rehabilitation and education. Applications are forwarded to the VA office that will process the application, and that office then contacts the veteran concerning the application's status.
