The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has established an online database, Home Health Compare, (that compares the quality of Medicare-certified home health agencies. The database compares the agencies in four different categories related to: (1) patient mobility, (2) activities of daily living, (3) medical emergencies and (4) mental health. The database can be searched by state, county, zip code or agency name.
