To help adults in their quest to stay healthy, the U.S. Department of Health
and Human Services Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality has developed
recommendations regarding which screening tests adults should have and when
they are needed. Also available is a screening test checklist that adults
can take with them to their doctor's office. The checklist includes space to
list the date of the most recent recommended tests, as well as space to
enter the date when the next tests should be scheduled. The checklist for
women is available at http://www.ahrq.gov/ppip/healthywom.htm, and the
checklist for men is available at http://www.ahrq.gov/ppip/healthymen.htm.
