Delay Paying Property Taxes .... Legally!

Age 62 or older?
Have household income of less than $24,000 per year?

If so, California may let you postpone all or part of your home's property taxes. Postponed amounts are treated like a loan, and bear interest. Payment isn't due until you move, sell, die or fail to pay other debts secured by the home.

Call the Controller's Office at (800) 952-5661 and ask for the Property Tax Postponement application.
